the starmerx engineering team
We are Starmerx.
A global company founded in 2011 in Seattle— our founders are engineers who wrote Amazon backends and the Microsoft search engine. What we do is thoroughly engineer-shaped: rewiring global trade with systems we built ourselves.
This site is not the company storefront. It's the overflow from the workbenches of a bunch of people here who write code. We drop the tools we built for ourselves, the traps we fell into, the half-finished experiments, and the things we wanted to open-source—right here.
The systems we maintain
It eats signals.
Ingests public data from Amazon and similar platforms in real time, producing a verdict on whether a product is worth picking. Product Data Management System.
It schedules listings.
The middleware tying selection, marketing, and cross-brand distribution together. Global Merchandise Distribution System.
It watches inventory.
Tracks inventory and sales in real time, runs auto-tuning, and powers "one-click listing". AI Operational System.
The stack we use
Our backend is mainly Python / Django (every core system in the company runs on it), and the data layer is a hybrid of Doris / MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB / Redis. For the AI pipeline we lean on mainstream ML stacks plus our own feature engineering.
For this public-facing site (the one you're reading) we use Astro, deployed on Cloudflare Pages—zero server, zero cookies.
